Hi I'm Brittany

I'm from Portland, Oregon. I'm studying Psychology. I love to travel. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am an undergraduate psychology major planning on going into social work. I love art, baking, and running. My husband and I are big Seinfeld fans, and we also have an obsession with frozen yogurt! We love music and we love helping others around us. Some of our favorite moments are spent with our families, and we love the opportunities we have to visit them.

Why I am a Mormon

One of my favorite church doctrines is that we believe families are forever. This means that after we die, we can be reunited with those we have lost. Temple marriages are not only for time, but for eternity. This means so much to me because my husband and my family are my favorite things. If something were to happen to any of them, my belief in eternal families would be an enormous source of comfort.

How I live my faith

My husband and I love living the gospel of Jesus Christ. We actively try to do service for those around us, we read the Holy Scriptures daily to draw closer to our Heavenly Father, and we love attending our Sunday meetings. Currently we have been asked to welcome and oversee any new comers to our Sunday service. We introduce them to those in leadership positions at our building, make sure they know where the classes are located, and inform them about any upcoming group activities such as large group game nights or other gatherings. This is so much fun for us because we have the opportunity to meet new people every week. We are constantly becoming acquainted with people who are in similar situations as ourselves, going to school and figuring out what the next chapter of our lives will be. We enjoy the time we spend getting to know others, and find it very rewarding.
