Hi I'm Richard

I am a missionary. I hope to become a psychologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Geargia Atlanta North Mission. Before that I enrolled in BYU Idaho and studied Psychology. I hope to help people by doing research, being a therapist and educating people about being a happy person.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I did not fully decide that I really wanted to be a part of this church until I was in my late teenage years. I decided to read the Book of Mormon all the way through for the first time, and adjusted my life so I could be worthy of the blessings my parents had recieved. I have read through the Book of Mormon three times and am now on my fourth time through. I have prayed every time and asked Heavenly Father if it was true. I also prayed to know if the church was true. Every time I have prayed, I recieved a feeling of great love and comfort and the feeling that I am indeed a member of Christ's true church. If you become worthy and read the book of mormon and go to church, you will feel a love and a happiness that you will find no where else.

How I live my faith

I try to follow Christ's teachings with exactness, as did the army of Helaman and the sons of Mosiah. I encourage others to follow Christ's example by doing what Christ would do. I am always looking for opportunities to serve others.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We absolutely do not worship Joseph Smith. We not worship any of the prophets. We do not worship anyone except Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. While we do not worship Joseph Smith, we grateful that he was an instrument in the hands of the Lord in restoring the gospel in its fullness to the earth. Show more Show less
