Hi I'm Grant

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I like to play soccer. I love to ski. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a second degree black belt in Shotokan, Karate. I worked as a lawn mower for those in my neighborhood, then worked as a desk clerk for the city gym for a year. I attended Utah Valley University for a year before turning in my mission papers. I enjoy being with family, reading, skiing, playing soccer, and going boating.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I grew up in the church. However, I did not gain a knowledge that the Book of Mormon was true until about two weeks before I left for the mission; I thought it would probably be a great idea to have a testimony of that since I would be teaching about it for the next two years. I also want to share the gospel. One of my best friends was baptized into the church a couple of years ago, and I very clearly remember how happy he was; not only that, but everyone else had the same happiness, and now I want to help others to have that same happiness. I know that as people come closer Christ as my friend did, that they can feel the same joy and Spirit. I know that as people have that desire to change and let Christ into their lives, that peace and blessings will abound and love in the family will increase a million fold. I know that because of the gospel in my life I am a happier person. I know that with the Holy Ghost in my life I feel a comfort and a peace that I can't find anywhere else. I know with every fiber of my being that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good example of my faith. More times then we will ever know people will notice the things we do and say, and how it will influence them we won't know unless they tell us. What a huge importance then that our words, actions, and even thoughts be pure. As Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
