Hi I'm Jim Nelson

I have been married since 1993 and still going strong. We have 7 great kids and I love serving others I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a dentist in a small community that provides a great place to raise my family. I love to golf, camp, hike go 4-wheeling, and just spend time with my family. I also enjoy going on dental mission trips where I have met some fantastic people and been able to provide dental care for lots of little kids in Guatemala and soon in Kenya. I am very busy with keeping up with the family and their needs at school, church and work. i have to children in High school that are heavily involved in music and theater. Sometimes I feel like we don't get to spend as much time as a family together that we would like, but we try to make every moment count!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that raised me with my faith but I have sought out to know of the truthfulness on my own. I read scripture, listened to prophets and prayed to find out truth. The way I got my answer was after prayer feeling the Holy Ghost witness to me through a burning in my chest of the truth.

How I live my faith

I serve the members of my church through my calling or volunteer job. I get to travel around to Greybull, Basin, Thermopolis, Ten Sleep and also the wards in in home town of Worland. As I travel around I get to uplift members, give talks and interview them for worthiness to enter the Temple. I attend church every week and my Sundays are usually full of meetings or visits. I also attend the Temple in Billings trying to make it once a month.
