Hi I'm Alex Stanley

I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona. I go to Scottsdale Community College. I have been a Mormon all my life.

About Me

I am 19 and I am excited to go on my mission. My hobbies include kayaking, playing racquetball, and watching/quoting Steven Spielberg movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace I feel by living the gospel and the teachings from the Mormon church. I enjoy the feelings I get from reading the Book of Mormon. It teaches us to believe in Christ and to do as he did, which is the way I know to live. I have a testimony that Jesus atoned for our sins so that we can live with our Heavenly Father once again through repentance.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every sunday. I also show my faith by participating in my churches activities whether it is scouting or service to others. I enjoy reading scriptures and discussing the history and truths in it. I enjoy doing my home teaching with my dad whenever we can.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Alex Stanley
Having a mutual faith in Christ is important to a successful marriage. The key to a successful marriage is trust. The gospel tells us how to live like Jesus. Jesus taught us to be honest and truthful in our daily lives. The gospel promotes us to live like Jesus and follow as he did. the gospel also teaches us to have faith in each other. Faith can help couples and families face uncertainty and live up to high expectations. Show more Show less
