Hi I'm Connie

I'm a retired teacher, mother of two, grandmother of four and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in a small farming community in S.W. Oklahoma. After graduation from high school my family moved to North Texas. I returned to Oklahoma and attended collage where I majored in vocal music education. After graduation I taught music in Oklahoma for two years. I returned to the N. Texas area where I taught for several years. I met the love of my life who was LDS, I was not. We married and raised two wonderful children. after nearly 20 years of trying to convert my spouse I felt a strong desire to learn more about the Mormon Church. after frustrating several young missionaries I was baptized. My eternal companion and I were finally sealed in the Holy Temple of the Lord over 20 years ago.

Why I am a Mormon

The LDS doctrine has answered many questions that were never clear to me before I was converted. I love this church and have a great deire to share my faith with others.

How I live my faith

My testimony is an important part of my life. It grows stronger as I try to serve my Heavenly Father and others. It has been my privilege to serve as relief society president and teacher. I have also enjoyed teaching in primary and playing the piano, serving in the young women's presidency. All of these callings have been a real blessing to me as I continue to grow in the gospel.
