Hi I'm Josiah Daniel Erekson

I'm a freerunner, I'm a musician, I'm an Ultimate (frisbee) player, I'm an artist, I'm a missionary, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in this gospel. I was known to lots of people around me as "The Mormon". I've always wanted to be as Christ like as I can. I always enjoyed life's little treasures such as music and art. I've been drawing since I was 6 years old and even to this day I'm not very good at it, but I love to draw comics that make people laugh. I got into music with the guitar. I've always liked how it sounded and I once aspired to be in a band someday. I later found much more enjoyment by expressing my music as thanks to The Lord. I'm still learning, but I know as long as I'm singing praises to The Lord that's all that matters to me! I got into free running and Ultimate (frisbee) when I was about 16 years old. I had a sudden drive to do more sports. I've always enjoyed them, and found I didn't stink at it too bad. I mainly did it because of my friends, most of which are also Mormon. Even though I spent my time doing things that are fun, I've found most of my happiness come from the Gospel. I found as I've invited Christ into my life and read the Bible and Book of Mormon I've had mush reason to have joy. I have a great family with great values, and the same for my friends! I beg you to read the Book of Mormon and pray to God and ask him if it's true! I only wish you to exprience the joy and hapiness I've come to know! And that's why I left my home for two years to come on my mission! So I can bring the Truth to my fellow brothers and sisters!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church, but I have come to know for myself that this is truly the Lord's church. I know that this is his true restored gospel. I know that you can come to know this as well.

How I live my faith

I am called to serve as a Missionary for the Lord and his children. I will serve with all my heart, might, mind, and strength to help others to come to know the same amazing happiness that I have received. I pray that you will be happy for all eternity. My calling is to help bring that happiness to others.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Josiah Daniel Erekson
Why wouldn't we need a savior? I can't think of a time, nor a place that needed forgiveness more than this one at this time. The matter is, we've all sinned. There will be eternal consequences to such sins just as there are consequences to breaking the law of our country. Without a Savior, we would have to pay for our sins. Justice demands it. That doesn't mean we can just act like nothing happened and continue sinning. Our Father in Heaven has promised us forgiveness so long as we do our absolute best to never do it again. The savior said to the woman taken in adultery "Go and sin no more.", and he asks us to do the same thing. Do I believe we need a savior? I KNOW we need one! If it weren't for the atonement of Jesus Christ, I would be surely sunk to the darkest depths of despair. And now that I've experienced the power of his atonement, my joy in immeasurable!
