Hi I'm Joseph Weeks

I grew up in Oregon and Montana. I'm a techy guy. I have loved music all of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born on Oregon, lived in a few different places there for about half of my life, then moved to Montana for the later half of my life. I have loved to sing as long as I can remember and I have been working on computers since I was about 6 years old or so. I also can figure out most of the technology I come in contact with, especially if I can see an example first. I love to do a bit of drafting every now and then. I also go boating when I can. I have participated in cross country for 3 years. I love to be in the outdoors, but I can also do quite a bit indoors. I have worked on our 60 year old house as well as taken shop classes, so you could call me a "jack of all trades, master of some."

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned for myself that what Mormons teach is true. I have learned quite a bit of it and it answers many questions that I have had over my life. It has also given me a purpose in this life, a good way to live and have peace in this life. No matter what comes, any situation, any questions, I know that I can turn to my Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ; they will help me as long as I do my part and be willing to ask them for help. They help me to understand why I go through different things, and to see what matters and what doesn't matter. I can be guided in this life. I know that everyone else can be too. All of us can return to and live with our Father in Heaven! We can know what true joy really is!

How I live my faith

I was born in the church and have been active in it all of my life. Sometimes I have questioned a few different things but I have gotten answers to those questions and so I have stayed with the church, attended worship services almost every Sunday, as well as attended youth activities. I have also served in the church in different ways. I have never gotten paid anything as we don't pay our church leaders money for them to live off of. I am currently sharing the gospel we teach with everyone I can, and I am learning everyday.
