Hi I'm Jacob

I grew up in Maryland. I am a dedicated road bike rider. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attend a university. I am a Physics major. I was involved with the folk dance club at my university and was even on the back up team. I also enjoy ballroom dancing. I have completed a triathlon and a half marathon. I am able to speak French. My family moved to England for two years when I was younger. However, I spent most of my growing up years on the east coast.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon home. However, as life progressed, there were many difficulties and hardships that came my way. I had to chose what I believe for myself and the life that I want to live. It was not easy nor did the hardships go away quickly. I began to pray to Heavenly Father for help and to feel of His love. He answered my prayers. He helped me and supported me. He allowed me to feel more of His love. He helped me to be filled with hope and strength. I know that God will always be there for me and will never leave me alone. I know that his commandments are to make us happy and feel of his love. The commandments are to make life easier for us. I want to show my appreciation to God for all that He has done for me by serving Him and his children here on earth.

How I live my faith

I really enjoy going to church every Sunday. I appreciate and value the time that I spend in studying the scriptures. I gain hope and strength from the stories and words contained in the Bible and Book of Mormon. I like to help those around me. I enjoy serving those who are having a difficult time. I am choosing to serve a mission, to help others know the love that God has for them and that there is hope because Christ died for us. I enjoy remembering my blessings and the things that God has done for me and currently does for me.
