Hi I'm Shelly

I grew up most of my life on a Cattle Ranch in Wyoming. I'm a Mormon and have been all my life.

About Me

I am a mother of four children, and a wife to a wonderful man. Our oldest is on a mission in Argentina and loving it. Next is at BYU in Provo, UT studying to be a nurse. High school age is into all sports including Rodeo but, is loving football the most. Youngest is the spit fire, and I feel was born to keep us young!! I love to swim and raise my kids on a Ranch. I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe in the message of Eternal Happiness. I believe in that we were put here on the earth to learn to be just that...Happy! Being a Mormon gives me guidlines to follow while still allowing me to have my free agency. As a Mormon you can never say that I didn't know, or that I wan't taught that. The LDS church has made all of it's teaching transparent. If you want to know something about the Mormons, you can find it easily from lds.org and many other websites. I believe that it is not only our right but obligation to continue our learning in all areas of our life. I am proud to be a Mormon, and grateful to raise my children with the gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives also.

How I live my faith

Daily striving is the key to living your faith. Am I a better person than I was last year at this time? Is a question I ask myself alot. Because day to day is harder to measure, and you can really get depressed and overwhelmed with everything that you need to do. But if you are striving to be a better person, take time to pat yourself on the back. Always remember that God wants us to be happy. I volunteer on the Ambulance Service in my town and am active with the kids schools. At church I am currently a Relief Society teacher and love learning as much as teaching.
