Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Kaysville, Utah. I speak Norwegian, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm currently serving in the Oslo, Norway Mission and I love it. Before my mission I went to school and started studying business and accounting. I worked at a golf course and I enjoy golfing. I pretty much like any sport as well as being outdoors. I love riding my dirt bike up in the mountains, and in the sand dunes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised up in the church and had a lot of wonderful experiences there as well as other church activities. There came a time in my life where I needed to know whether or not the church was true. I knew I had felt the spirit before but I wanted to know if this was the only true church on the earth, like it claims to be. I decided the best way to find out was to read the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is either true or it is not and I was determined to find out. I took the challenge that Moroni gives in the Book of Mormon which states, "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. I prayed and asked God the Father if the Book of Mormon was true and I received a confirmation from the Holy Ghost that it is true. My testimony of the restored gospel is not built upon one experience but hundreds. I have received several confirmations that the Book of Mormon is true and I have found many answers to life’s problems in the book. I notice a difference in my life when I read the Book of Mormon. I know that God lives and that He answers our prayers.

How I live my faith

I'm serving a mission for two years in my church right now. This has been a great way for me to get to know the Savior better. I try becoming more Christ like everyday as I study His word in the Bible and in the Book of Mormon. I love sharing what I believe in with others in hope that they will have a desire to learn more.
