Hi I'm BriannaMarie

I'm a dreamer, an adventurer, an optimist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest in a family of five, consisting of all girls except my daddy. I was born in Cali but have lived in Arizona for most of my life. My family is so important to me and I love being with them. I enjoy photography and I love to travel. I dream of seeing many countries of the world. I enjoy the variety of the world and it's cultures. I served a mission in Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk and loved every second of it, not a day goes by where I don't miss Ukraine and her people. Someday, I want to get in touch with my Chinese heritage and teach English in China.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, but that doesn't necessarily mean I never had to discover if it was "right" for myself. When I was a teenager I began to wonder if I was happy and if I believed all that my parents and Church leaders were teaching me. Soon, I began to compare my life with the way I saw others living around me. As I did so I realized for myself that I was grateful for the lessons and teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I had been taught to value life, others, family, education, and my own personal well-being. I know that the teachings of the church have helped me become the happy, care-free, positive, and caring person I am today. I know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and blesses lives because I have made the effort to live its teachings and in doing so, never have I felt lost or hopeless and when trials come my way I know where I can turn for help. As I continue to study my scriptures, pray, and follow the counsel of my leaders and parents I know I will never feel disappointing with myself and will always feel loved and optimistic about the future. Being Mormon gives me direction and purpose to my life. Even with these life experiences, however, I still craved the knowledge that what I was doing was in alignment with my Father's will and so I decided to read the Book of Mormon and pray, asking God in faith is the book was true and if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was His true church on the earth. I can't deny the feelings I felt as I began to read and ponder the message of the Book of Mormon, and I know that God did answer my prayer that that I was on the correct path, His path. I would encourage everyone if they haven't already to read the Book of Mormon and ask God if it is His word.

How I live my faith

My faith is who I am; for me it goes much deeper than simply attending church and reading the Bible and Book of Mormon. It defines everything about me. It has taught me how I can live a happy and free life. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Never have I felt it to be restricting or demanding. As I strived to live my faith, I have learned valuable lessons and values. I have learned to serve those around me and to have an uplifting and outgoing personality. I've learned the importanace of love and how everyone is a Child of God with great worth. This has provided me with self-confidence and helped me to value all those I associate with. My faith has taught me to vaule enducation and to love my family, so am dedicated in my school work and strive to be a peacekeeper in my home. I live my faith by continually striving to be a positve, uplifting, helpful friend to those around me.
