Hi I'm Robert

I grew up in southern California, served a two year church mission in Mexico City. I'm married with two kids.

About Me

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in history. I have served as a law enforcement officer for the past 5 years and enjoy assisting people every day. I love spending time with my family. Together we go on walks/runs and love playing outside. Personally I enjoy golfing and riding motorcycles. I love to go to sporting events and look forward to helping my kids play in sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because I grew up in the church, but because I have had the opportunity to pray and ask Heavenly Father if what I was doing was the only correct path to take. Through prayer and having a desire to know the truth, I have been constantly reassured that I am on the correct path to return to our Heavenly Fathers presence. I understand that I will make mistakes along the way and I know that I need to repent for whatever sins I may commit. I also know that Jesus Christ paid for my sins as long as I repent properly. I also love the fact that families can be together through Heavenly Fathers plan of happiness. Through living the commandments and doing what we are supposed to, we can enjoy happiness in this life with our families and eternal happiness in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the Elders Quorum President, which I thoroughly enjoy. As President, I am involved with the welfare and well being of the middle aged men and their families in the ward. I enjoy serving with others in the ward and seeing the progression of others. Although my faith is strong, I still find myself trying to live the basics of the gospel. I am grateful knowing that I can use the Saviors atonement throughout my life as I try to better myself. I know that I am imperfect and that I will make mistakes throughout my life, I know the Savior is there to help me if I make the effort to become more like him.
