Hi I'm Rob

I am from Chicago. Shortly after I truned 19 I went to Puerto Rico for two years as a missionary for the church.

About Me

I like waterskiing and camping. Road trips are also one of my favorite things to do. I am a father of 5 young kids. They get into the same mischief that I did as a kid. I have fun playing Legos and Monopoly with them.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a young teenager, I felt something special each Sunday at church. I learned from my dad how to pray when I was a boy. It has been a comfort knowing that God listens and answers my prayers. I know Heavenly Father wants to hear from me each day. As a teenager, my older sister encouraged me to kneel when I said my prayers. As I knelt from then on, I found there was a difference my attitude. I am thankful for a Living Father who knows and loves all of His children. He wants us to return to Him.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have moved a lot in the past ten years and have attended many congregations. We have always felt welcomed. We have taught Sunday School classes to adults and to youth. I learn more when I have to prepare a lesson than when I just attend a class. I also feel I am contributing to a great cause when I help young people learn that they can have a relationship with their Father in Heaven. These youth are growing up in a world void of any moral principles.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

God is all-powerful; and all-knowing. He knows our thoughts and desires. Our Father has an immortal and perfected body. He created this earth life for us so we could find joy and learn and grow. If we are clean, we will return and live with Him when this life is over. Show more Show less
