Hi I'm Angela
I am a cupcake baking, coupon clipping, book reading Mama. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I have a passion for learning about the world. I have a BA in International Relations from Brigham Young University, and I have the best job in the world: staying home with my sweet babies! I have 2 adorable children, one girl and one boy. We spend our days singing, dancing, reading, and exploring the world around us.
Why I am a Mormon
Like Nephi in the Book of Mormon, I was "born of goodly parents" who taught me correct principles from my youth. In my teenage years, I wanted to know for myself if the Gospel was true. Like King Lamoni's Father in the Book of Mormon, I prayed to know if God is real. The answer to my prayer came as an overwhelming feeling of love. I see evidence of a loving Heavenly Father all around me. All of creation denotes that there is a Supreme Creator. I am most grateful for the knowledge that was restored to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I cannot imagine living my life or raising my children without an eternal perspective. I know who I am (a daughter of God), I know God's plan (He wants me to follow Him and return to live with Him someday), and I follow Him in Faith. One of the greatest gifts God gives us is prayer and personal revelation. As I exercise faith and ask in sincerity, I can receive answers to my prayers. I daily receive inspiration to know how to help others and my family. The Gospel is True! I feel the power of its truthfulness every day.
How I live my faith
Right now I am serving as a Visiting Teaching Supervisor. Each month I contact several sisters from the church to see if they had the opportunity to visit with their sisters in the Gospel and if those sisters have any needs. I love the visiting teaching program because it shows our Heavenly Father's concern and love for each sister. I feel my greatest service is in the home as I rear my small children. We often read the Friend and talk daily about Gospel principles.
