Hi I'm Jacque Clark

I grew up in the States but have remarried to my perfect spouse and moved to Canada. I am now the Mom of 9 fab children.

About Me

The most important thing in my life is my family. I was previously married to a man who suffered from chronic pain and became addicted to pain medication. This is a very difficult situation but when you are LDS this poses a really difficult situation. We were married for 19 years when I decided that my children were suffering from the conflict in my marriage. After much prayer I decided to leave the marriage. This was a devastating decision. My husband took his life 5 weeks later. My life and the lives of my children were turned upside down and we were reeling from the pain and confusion. But my Father in Heaven had a plan for me and my children. I met a beautiful man who shared all of my values. He reminded me of why I love the Lord and His church. This man taught me the importance of having a open heart and a willing mind. We were married in August of 2011 and we have blended a house full of beautiful children, two dogs and four cats. We thought that this would be a difficult transition for them all, however they all put great effort into showing love every day to each other. I am three classes away from getting my Bachelor's Degree in Education. And hopefully will be graduating in the spring. My passion is children! I love teaching and watching the light turn on in the minds of our children. I have many goals for myself... health, spiritual, and educational. But again the most important things in my life are my testimony, children and my amazing husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this faith. I have had many reasons and opportunities to deny my testimony. This is something I can not ever do. We are all given spiritual gifts and I believe that this is one of mine. I know and have always known from somewhere deep in my heart and soul that this is the TRUE gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Many people want scientific proof of the church's authenticity, however faith requires us to step beyond hard facts and into a spiritual realm. I can not and will never deny the existence of my Loving Heavenly Father or my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith had visions. I know that He translated the Book of Mormon. I know that we have living Prophets today. President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet and leads and guides us. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true history of people who lived on this continent before and after the birth and death of Christ. I know that when I am living according to the teachings of the Gospel I am happy. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and have an eternal plan that will span the eternities.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by service. I love working with the missionaries and teaching the gospel. My calling is the Activity Days Leader. This is working with the 8 to 12 year old girls in our ward, teaching them, but mostly having fun.
