Hi I'm Jeremy Taylor

I love books. I love seeking new knowledge. I've been called to serve the Lord. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to read books. I love to travel to new places. I love to solve problems with computers. I am the third of four children. I graduated from high school this past May. I have been called to serve in the Philippines Naga Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

For most of my life, I had been doing things like attending church every Sunday, reading my scriptures, and praying daily to my Heavenly Father. However, I wasn't really putting much thought into why I was doing these things and how they could benefit me. Then one day, I kneeled down to Heavenly Father and asked Him forgiveness. I then prayed for comfort and strength that I would be able to know that the things I was doing were true, and that I would be able to have a better understanding of those principles and doctrines. I bear testimony that God does listen to prayers, and that if you get down on your knees and pray for the truth of things, that He will hear you. I know that you can pray anytime and anywhere. I also know that our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us, so that we can be forgiven of our transgressions and feel comfort in times of pain if we show that we have faith in Him.

How I live my faith

I was born and raised in a Mormon family. From the start of my life, I was always surrounded by good influences and supportive people. When I have questions about things that don't make sense to me, I pray ask other members for guidance. The most powerful tool that I have found for getting answers is asking Heavenly Father in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ for answers to my questions. I seek to serve others as much as possible and take my callings seriously. I've actively participated in teaching my families that I hometeach. Most of all, I'm treating my call to serve a mission with great optimism. I want to seek out all who would like to hear the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
