Hi I'm Sara Lindsey

I grew up in West Virginia. I'm a senior in high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a senior in high school and I participate in my school's performing arts program. I love to sing and dance and to meet new people while doing it! When I'm not at school I'm spending time with my family. My family adopted four little children through foster care and I absolutely adore each one of them. I love to spend time playing with them and teaching them. Through these relationships that I have developed with my siblings I have decided to become an elementary school teacher. I would like nothing more than to spend every day with children, teaching them and learning from them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I KNOW that what I've been taught is right. When I follow the teachings of my parents and church leaders, I can feel the Holy Ghost testify to me that my Father in Heaven is pleased with me. And that is the most amazing feeling in the world. I'm a Mormon because I know that it's right.

How I live my faith

If there's one thing I've learned in my life it's that someone is always watching, especially when you don't think they are. For this reason I always try to be the best person I can and lead others by example, whether it's in the dressing room in the theater, in the hallways at school, or in the seminary classroom, it's important to constantly live the principles that the church teaches- love, repentance, and forgiveness. Sure I make mistakes sometimes, but that doesn't mean I can't repent and start anew. I always try to live as if Jesus Christ is standing right beside me, and I have never once regretted a choice I have made while picturing Him next me.
