Hi I'm Keros

I grew up in Oregon in an LDS family. I served in Paraguay and I'm married with three children... and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm married and a father of three amazing children. I graduated Ricks College with an AS in Electronic Engineering Technology, then went back to BYUI for a BS in Construction Management. I have a fun career in the High Tech construction industry. I spend time with my family and I enjoy hobbies such as building things, fixing things, outdoors, sports and technology.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ. I developed a testimony early in my life and even though it has been challenged by others and by temptation, I've always been blessed to be guided through. The gospel has always given my live purpose and meaning. One way I know the gospel is true and that I'm living the way Christ would have me live is by looking at the outside world and seeing how lost so many people are. They don't seem to have any conviction on what is right and wrong. I can clearly see what is right in most cases and I've always been supported in living that way, which provides that purpose and meaning that we all so desperately need. I can ask myself, "what kind of person would I be without the gospel" and I honestly don't think I would be as happy, grounded, stable, blessed, etc as I am now. The gospel has blessed my life in so many ways that I often take it for granted, but it gives me pause when I stop and think about the over abundance of blessings that I, and my family, have received because of the gospel. To anyone that has questions about the meaning and purpose of life... like where do we come from, where are we going, why am I here, what would the Lord have me do... the Church of Jesus Christ has all those answers for you and more. You have the ability to pray and ask for yourself directly from the Lord what He would have you do, and through the inspiration of the same Spirit that guided the apostles of old, you can also be guided, inspired and taught. The Lord has not abandonded our generation and has not stopped his communication to his beloved children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by the choices I make. I choose to go to work everyday to provide for my family. I come home to a welcoming family and we talk about our day. I exercise and attend family activities after work and on weekends. I prepare lessons for Sunday School classes. I read the scriptures every night with my family and on Monday's we have a special family night activity at home. I attend Boy Scout events with my two sons. We pray every day together and enjoy one another's company. We take time to serve those in need by visiting them, helping them with chores or bringing them meals when needed.
