Hi I'm Tiffany Burnett

I am a student at BYU Provo majoring in Asian Studies w/ Emphasis in Korean! I am currently serving a mission in Daejeon Korea!

About Me

I am a big fan of Korean dramas and K-pop I have been listening and watching for almost 5 years now! I absolutely love Korea and I'm so excited to be serving the Lord in Korea. It's amazing how much the Lord loves and cares about us. I am majoring in Asian Studies with an emphasis in Korean. I am very blessed to be able to serve in Korea and to be speaking Korean.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in the church, I never knew if what people told me was true. I was a baptized member of the church at eight years old. When I was younger I had depression and because I suffered for seven years, I didn't believe God existed. However I wanted to know if what everyone was teaching me was true and if it could really help me. So one summer I finished my personal progress and I read the Book of Mormon. When I read the Book of Mormon I prayed about it. I prayed at the end after I finished reading cover to cover. I wanted to know from God if it was true. So I knelt in prayer and asked Him if the Book of Mormon was and if this church was true. I felt nothing. But as I stayed in silence in the prayer I thought why do I not feel anything and the thought came to my head, "the only reason you aren't feeling anything is because you already know it's true." When I had this thought then the of the Holy Ghost came and testified that that was true and that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. That is why I am a Mormon I wouldn't be a member today let alone serving a mission for this church if I had not gained a testimony for myself when I was younger. The only way a person can come to the knowledge of the truthfulness of this gospel is if they read and pray about the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my praying to my Heavenly Father everyday for His support for His help in improving myself in order to become a better me. Right now the way I live my faith is by serving the Lord on an LDS mission. I am His representative and am bringing His gospel to all the world, specifically Korea. I love Him so much and because I have a desire to follow Him and do His will is why I'm serving a mission.
