Hi I'm Janae

I grew up on a farm. I love to play volleyball, country dance, and play the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm with my parents and six siblings. I learned the value of hard work early in life. I loved to help my dad on the farm, and I enjoyed the beauty of God's creations. I graduated from college, and then choose to be a full time mother. I love it! I have 3 young children that keep me very busy. Since being a mother is my job, I am frequently reading books and talking to other mothers about how to be a better parent. I am continually learning more about myself as I try to be the best mother I can be. I teach piano in my home a few hours a week. I love it because I am still there for my kids if they need me, but I can help others develop their talents so that they can then go on to bless the lives of others. I have a passion for playing volleyball. I also enjoy reading and country swing dancing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is true. Although I was raised in the church, I didn't always have a deep conviction about it's truthfulness. However, I strived to be obedient to the commandments and line upon line I have gained a deep testimony and know that it is true. God lives and cares about each one of us. We are his children. He strengthens us to meet the challenges that we have in this life, if we will just turn to him. I have seen the blessings that come from living the gospel in my own life, but also in the lives of others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be more like Christ. I try to be a good neighbor and friend. In my ward, I teach the youth, ages 14-18. I feel it is a great resposnibility to try and help these young people learn more about the gospel and the blessing that it can be in their lives. I also live my faith by teaching my own children about the great message of the gospel.
