Hi I'm Paul Lafferty

I'm a Mormon yes indeedy...

About Me

Bloomington,Indiana Stake - Terre Haute , Honey Creek Ward I'm a simple man , since I became a Christian that is..... My ways are not my old ways and haven't been now for over 20 years. The Church of Jesus Christ has made me a better man , I now have patience , even though I am not a Doctor.... And I still have my sense of humor. I love going to church because I am still learning even after 20 years , It's amazing how much is revealed to us by God on a daily basis. You've heard the saying "Get a Life" well I did ever since the "Missionaries" came to our door.... Try it you'll like it - I did and have never looked back ....My life is great , I can only imagine what our next life will be like being with Jesus and our Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I searched for a church for several years before this church and never found anything that seemed to satisfy my desire for the truths in the Bible , I am so glad I found (God sent the missionaries to my house) this church. I believe in"Christ" !

How I live my faith

Serving in the church can be so uplifting , being able to teach the Gospel in class or on the street is a wonderful thing. People give you such insight and how they believe in Jesus the Christ... Belief is the very thread that ties all religions together. I served as a Branch President once and the ""Mantle" of the calling was so great. The spirit was always nudging me in what to say , or how to help others . it was with me almost constantly but more so , when making helpful decisions for those I served. When I was released I felt as though , I had lost my best friend and had to work harder to keep from falling away. More joy than is measurable is received when you help others especially behind the scenes , kinda incognito. When you see the people later you see them as the Saviour does as a child of God.
