Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a young wife. I'm a "wanna be" florist. I'm a mother in training. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently working full-time. Life is busy and hard. Life is easier, with the help of my husband. I've been married for a little over two years, and I love it! I get to be with my best friend all the time. We get to laugh at things together, go on walks together, enjoy movies, and just talk. We also share the same desires; for example, we want to have children and raise them to obey, worship, and love the Lord as much as we do, if not more. I love floral design! I want to be a florist, someday. I love combining flowers into art. I makes those eventful days brighter, happier, and more special. I love nature! I love seeing the beautiful world that our Savior has created for us. A piece of that beauty can be brought into our homes, be a part of our special days, and make life happier. The beautiful world around us reminds us that the Lord is with us, He wants the best for us, and He loves us. He wants life to be happy and beautiful! I love to golf! It is a challenge and yet very relaxing. I like to compete, but only against myself. I want to push myself to be better. I love the feeling one gets when you use your driver to hit the golf ball off the tee and it goes over 300 yards; one of the best feelings in the world. This life is about learning. Getting a degree is valuable, but its not everything. There are so many life lessons we need to learn. Most of all we need to trust and have faith in our loving Heavenly Father and Savior. They love me and they want me to come home!

Why I am a Mormon

As a child I was taught the gospel of Jesus Christ by my parents, my family, local church leaders, and our Savior. I was taught to be faithful Latter-Day Saint. I have learned to be a faithful member. I have had many conversion moments over the course of my life where it has been testified to me that my Savior loves me. Growing up my father was diagnosed with heart failure and was disabled for more than 8 years. As his condition progressed we learned the only thing that would save him would be a heart transplant. By the mercy of our Savior, my father received that heart transplant. This whole experience has built a firm foundation in the gospel and our Savior for me and my entire family. I gained a foundation of strength from this experience. I was pregnant over a year ago. This was to be our first child, but it wasn't meant to be. I miscarried. It has been the hardest thing I have gone through. It looks like there will still be a while before we can have children, but I know the Lord has a reason for this. My husband and I have become stronger and I needed to let the Lord heal me. I needed to strengthen my faith in Him. I need this gospel. I need my Savior. He helps me, he heals me, he strengthens me. I would not be able to make it through the day, in this wicked world, without His help. Because He does so much for me, I want to thank Him, worship Him, and obey Him, to show how much I am thankful for Him and His atonement. I love Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father!

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my life, so others around me know that I love our Lord. I pray every day. I read the scriptures every day. I try to serve others every day. I report to our local leaders on how other sister member that live around me are doing, spiritually and temporally. I teach other sister members the doctrine of Christ. I help others who teach the sisters. I help lead other sisters to Christ. I help them with their struggles and trials. I am there for their pains and their joys. I serve them and their families. I try to build up the relationship I have with my family. I love and support them. I pray for them and worship with them. I want to someday have children of my own so I can be with them for eternity. I try to live a righteous life, so I can be with my family for eternity. I try every day to strengthen my marriage, because I want to be with my wonderful husband for eternity, and when hard times do come, we can face them together, side by side, and with the Lord's help. I try to keep the Lord close. I need Him everyday. He gives me the strength I need to get through each day. When I feel particularly weighed down I ask Him to help me lift by burdens, because I can't lift them alone. I want to show my love and obedience to my Lord by keeping His commandments, ordinances, and principles. I choose to obey and worship Him, so I can become more like Him. Then, in the next life I can live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, for eternity.
