Hi I'm Bryce

I love art, especially music, film, and photography. I'm married to the best person in the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah and I think it was the greatest place ever to grow up. I loved my childhood. It was a magical time of reading books, becoming a Pokemon master, and watching the Star Wars movies over and over again until I could quote them in their entirety. That's right, I was a nerd. Still am, actually. When I turned 19, I served for two years as a missionary in the Northern Virginia area. I loved my time there and the good people that I met. Now I'm a student at Utah Valley University, where I'm studying in the field of Computer Science. I've always been a big fan of technology so that seemed to fit. I met the best person in the world while I was studying there and now we're happily married and loving our life together. Our hobbies include singing in the car, longboarding/biking, watching movies, playing board games, and we've beat Super Mario Bros. on the Wii more times than we would ever admit.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were members of this church, but they never would have forced me to be a member too. Instead, they helped me learn for myself what was right and what was wrong and the happiness that living the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings. As a child, I was baptized a member solely because I was happy and I felt that it was good. As I grew older, it became apparent that this church followed all of Christ's teachings and was organized in the way that He had organized his original church. The facts were all there, but what was most influential in my decision to be a member was the love God has shown me and the Spirit I've felt as I've done what he wants me to do. I love Him and will always be grateful for the love He has shown me in return.

How I live my faith

My faith is very important to me. That faith has grown over the years as I've tried to develop a closer relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and that relationship has become my most treasured possession. I live that faith by doing my best to learn about God in the scriptures, by showing kindness and love to others like Christ did, and by doing my best to be a good husband, son, and friend. I also do my best to serve in our local congregation.
