Hi I'm Dallin

I'm a writer. I'm an athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children, a native of Alberta, Canada. I quite enjoy playing sports; in High School I was the point guard for my school Basketball team, left wing for my Handball team and ran Hurdles and jumped High Jump for the Track team. Above all, however, I thoroughly enjoy all things pertaining to literature. My favorite author is Edgar Allan Poe, yet, as perhaps expected, I do have a great admiration for Shakespeare as well. I love to write and hope that my future career will involve this activity in some form or another. I was planning to attend the University of Calgary, however a change in the age of eligibility to serve a mission temporary postponed that endeavor to a later date. I now will serve the good people of South Korea for the next two years.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many individual aspects that have drawn me to a full conversion in the fullness of Christ's gospel, however after all of these, the single factor that cements my foundation in this church is the happiness, joy and peace that I feel through living the gospel. As I strive to live my life in accordance with the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I am filled with a sense of purpose that transcends the many complexities and business of my daily life.

How I live my faith

The essence of my faith is predicated upon the words of the Saviour: Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. I have founded my effort to become like Christ on service to others. Even as Jesus Christ dedicated His life in service to others, so shall I serve as much as I can, in as many ways that I can.
