Hi I'm Alex

I am Mexican and grew up here in the U.S. I love business and service. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been going to school college for a year and I am about to go out on an LDS mission. I am so excited. Since i graduated high school about two years ago I have just been working and passing time really. I love to play any sport but mostly Basketball, Tennis and go Snowboarding. Really any physical activity interests me and I always love to learn new things to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am from Mexico where my Parents were converted through the message the Missionaries shared with them before they were even married. I was born and raised with Mormon principles. My parents worked very hard and emigrated to the U.S. where they hoped their children would have a better environment to be raised in. There is truth and light everywhere we go. We don't even have to be looking for them. They just come to us. We just have to always have an open heart and mind to recieve these truths. Otherwise we will be left in the dark. This is my testimony. The principles and truths of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is where I find the most happiness. I have many friends and family that are not members or are not active and dont live by these Truths. I know that the Authority of God resides in the church of Jesus Christ of LDS. and by living by these principles and Truths we can be closer to our Father in Heaven and accept whatever he asks of us and serve him which ultimately brings us happiness. Service is more than hard labor, it is a lifestyle, and it is a joy.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve my community and people I meet in different ways. Which in my opinion is the best way to live my faith. In school I was involved in different leadership clubs that really helped me represent how I live and who I am. In church I had the opportunity to teach younger men and organize events for the congregation. Apart from the positions I've had to help me live my faith. The most important thing for me is that I live in such a way everyday in how I act that brings people closer to the spirit and my faith. Very soon I will be a full time Missionary where i will be able to do this more often and effectively through love, service and teaching.
