Hi I'm Nancy Vainikolo

Software Engineering Student at AUT. I love playing Volleyball, and helping others. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying engineering, majoring in computer and mobile systems. I'm a seminary graduate now attending Institute. In my spare time I like to spend time my with friends and family. catch up with high school friends and go out with our ward YSA to YSA activities. I am preparing to go on a full time mission. I love playing volleyball and basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member because I know from the bottom of my heart that it is the church of Jesus Christ. How do i know this you may ask, I know because i have prayed and asked our heavenly father if it is true. James 2:5. I have been raised a Mormon, but let me tell you, I did not fully understand the gospel until later on in my life. I have just gained my own testimony knowing that god lives and that Jesus Christ is our savior. I am blessed to be a member because of the joy that it brings to not only my life, but to my family and friends and to those around me. I am the person that i am today because of the teachings and the understand of the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. People may find me easy going and very friendly, some even question why i am always so happy. No matter what the race or where you live in the world we are all his children. And just knowing that, just brings a better understand and gives me a better view of what life is really about. I like to say, life is about lending a hand to those in need and finding joy in giving service to others. Living the Mormon life style is fun.

How I live my faith

In every opportunity i get to do service work in my community i go for it. I love helping those in need, somehow it bring joy into my day, and not only do i feel happy helping others, but I also feel compassion towards them knowing that each individual in my community and even beyond are all children of God. I participated in several community based service committees in my days high school. Every where i go i made sure that i didn't remove mine integrity from me. and that i lived up to what i believed is right. As i go about my day I wouldn't consider the little things i do to be as great. Until I had friends acknowledging the the confidence that i have to say hello to every single person that I come across wither its waiting for my bus to come or waiting for the elevators, or even just waiting in line at a cafe. Made me realize that I can be an example of the believer in words and in action.
