Hi I'm Stetzon Blacker

I am a full time missionary in the Georgia Atlanta Mission!

About Me

I love to play violin, sing, and almost anything musical. I am currently serving in the Georgia Atlanta Mission, in the Thomaston area. I have seen how great the blessings are of serving a mission. Not only have I been greatly blessed here, but my family and loved ones at home are recieving temendous blessings as well!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the church, it hasn't always been easy. When I was only 13 years old my parents got divorced and I was making some very poor decisions. I did not attend church for a few years. I would try to go sometimes, but I just couldn't bring myself to go. Then my freshman year of high school I made the greatest friends who loved the gospel so much. I read the Book of Mormon, and after alot of repentance, prayer, and hard work, I was attending church and reading my scriptures. There was a light in my life I hadn't seen for a very long time. I had never been happier in my entire life. I know now what happiness and joy the Gospel of Jesus Christ can give me. Although I still struggle form time to time, I still know that Christ is my Savior and through Him, I can be forgiven and forsaken. I know that the Book of Mormon is a very special and true book, and has always helped me in my times of need.

How I live my faith

Being a full time missionary enables me to talk with so many people every day and it brings so much joy, not only to my life, but to the lives of others as well!

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Stetzon Blacker
Mormons live very normal lifestyles. In all essence we are normal people lining normal lives. Although we do keep high standards (meaning no tatoos, dressing modest, etc.), we live like any other people. We contribute time and love into our families as much as we can. Family is very important to us and we even has a special night of the week just for family time known as Family Home Evening. On one night of the week , the youth of the church meet together to partake in different activities, whether it be service or games or just about anything you can think of to strengthen their testimonies.
