Hi I'm Nielson

I was born and raised in Australia by my Filipino parents. I'm a university student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a university student, studying political science and aspiring to be a diplomat. I watch the political arena on all levels- local, state, national and international. I enjoy travelling and exploring new things. I've never been any good at sport, but enjoy watching the local sports teams play their game. I enjoy being involved in the community and helping others in achieving their goals. I'm far from a fussy eater- I enjoy all foods, especially those from different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because of the hope that it gives me, and the guidance it gives me in life. As a Mormon I can be sure of my purpose on Earth, and know that when I die I can return to be with God again. Not only can I return to God, but I know that I can be there with my family, who mean everything to me. I choose to be a Mormon because I know that I can talk to God when I need to, and I know that He will answer my prayers. I can be sure of the direction that my life needs to go through a living prophet, who communicates with God directly.

How I live my faith

I help manage the records of the church, particularly in our auxiliary. I keep attendance records of who attends meetings and contact those who have not been to meetings in some time to see how we can help them. I visit those who have not been to church for extended periods of time. In the community, I try to share the example of Jesus Christ by being involved in local community organisations and charities by volunteering time for various events and serving others.
