Hi I'm Kent

I grew up in Payson, Utah. I am an accountant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four children, two boys and two girls. I did carpenter and painting work to earn money for college and graduated with a B.S. degree in accounting from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught the gospel by my parent's great and good examples. They lived it. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint is truly a way of life with high standards. It's a way of living that gives you peace and comfort in your life. You can know something is right and true by obeying and living Christ teachings. I have always believed the church to be true. I have felt the witness of the Spirit or the Holy Ghost. I testify Jesus Christ's church has been restored in our day for our benefit and blessings. Our Heavenly Father knows me and each one of us. We are his sons and daughters. Christ atoned and suffered for all our sins. It's recorded in the Book of Mormon, First Nephi 19:9 "And the world, because of their iniquity, shall judge him to be a thing of naught; wherefore they scourge him, and he suffereth it; and they smite him, and he suffereth it. Yea, they spit upon him, and he suffereth it, because of his loving kindness and his long-suffering towards the children of men." We will live again after this earthly life. We will be with our family, if we are obedient to God's commandments. I know all these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I have served in my church in various callings. I have been a financial clerk, executive secretary and a teacher to the children and youth. I have helped with youth activities and camps. I have given talks to different church congregations. I served a two year mission in England and taught them the gospel.
