Hi I'm JordanWillis

I'm Canadian, I love the cold, I'm a Missionary, and I am proud to be a Mormon

About Me

Hi my name is Jordan. I was born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I come from a family of two older sisters and a younger step brother. I now call Brantford, Ontario home. I am Currently serving as a missionary for the Church in the Canada Edmonton Mission!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but while I was growing up I didn't have a testimony of this gospel at all. I relied on my mom and my families testimonies to get me through things. It wasn't until I had an opportunity to go to a youth conference when I felt the Holy Ghost for the first time. That was a pivotal moment for me and that was when I started to take the Church more seriously and wanted to learn more about what this Church is about. As I have studied this Gospel and read the things that are taught it made sense to me and was easy to accept. As I went out with the missionaries before my mission i started to feel my self desiring to know more. When I left on my Mission I still didn't have a firm testimony but I decided to go on a act of faith. When I was in the MTC I had another witness that this Gospel is true. Upon arriving in the mission they challenge all the new missionaries to read the Book of Mormon in 6 weeks. I took the challenge and completed it in 7. I prayed to know that the book is true and I can say without a doubt that I received an answer. I love this Gospel and the joy that it brings to me and my Family.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is by truly living my standards and living the way I know is best for me. Going through High School was some times very hard, and there were alot of temptations there. I know that without my friends that were solid in there standards that I wouldn't have made it through those trials. Before my mission I was a ward missionary in my home ward. I really enjoyed going out with the missionaries, and feeling the spirit that this Gospel brings to my life. That was one of the things that got me interested in the opportunity to serve a mission. I truly gained a desire to share of the joy and the blessing that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is to me and also to all those around me. My mission has been a wonderful experience that i will never forget. I have grown alot mentally and defiantly spiritually.
