Hi I'm Kenny

Both motivated and dedicated. I am currently serving a mission in Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in San Diego, California. I like a variety of outdoor activities: soccer, football, swimming, wakeboarding, and any type of weapon, especially shotguns. I go to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and joined the Army National Guard in 2011.

Why I am a Mormon

Good values, standards, and atmosphere. Developed a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and have seen countless blessings as I have faithfully followed God's commandments.

How I live my faith

Spending two years as a Representative of Jesus Christ serving a full time mission in Nampa, Idaho.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Jesus is the Christ, the Savior and the Redeemer of Mankind. He is the only begotten of the Father in the Flesh. He is the Son of God. He is the perfect example. We draw close to our Father in Heaven by following Christ and modeling our lives after his. Through him all of mankind can be redeemed from their lost and fallen state by abiding to the principles and ordinances that Christ himself taught in his mortal ministry. Through him we can find peace in this life and salvation in the life to come. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes, that is what sets the Church of Jesus Christ apart from any other church in the world today. We have a prophet with the exact same power and authority that Moses had. God directs his church through his prophets as he has always done. His name today is President Thomas S. Monson. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

We can receive our own testimonies of the truth of the Restoration of the Gospel through diligent study and profound prayer to our Father in Heaven. Because he loves and cares about you personally, he will lead you and guide to the truth as you look for it. Focus on what you feel as you pray and ask for guidance. He will send feelings of comfort, peace, and happiness to reassure you and direct you. Show more Show less
