Hi I'm Wynona Benson

I am a Sailor's wife. I am a photographer. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Hong Kong. I love music, taking pictures, my family and the gospel. I love my job as a photographer, one of the biggest reason about it is because I love seeing the beauty of His creation through the special eyes of my camera. I love my husband, he is a Sailor of the U.S. Navy. We believe and love serving one another, and would love to share this selfless love of Christ to the others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church as my parents are members of the church. They set a good example to me. People often ask me how did I really find out if that's what I want to be - A Mormon. I believe in God. And I asked myself if this is the true church and gospel of Jesus Christ, but not just some religion that help you to be a better person when I was 14. I follow the simple way to read the scriptures and pray and ask Heavenly Father if this is true (Moroni 10:3-5). I love the gospel, and I know it is true. I know, and am grateful for the living prophet Thomas S. Monson. I love the temple, and I know as we make our goal to go there and make/renew covenant with Him, we will be blessed. I am grateful for our goodly parents who are faithful and amazing, and still such good examples for us. I know He loves every single one of us, and He cares us. "Our Heavenly Father is aware of our needs and will help us as we call upon Him for assistance. I believe that no concern of ours is too small or insignificant. The Lord is in the details of our lives." - President Monson

How I live my faith

I love our Prophet President Thomas S. Monson. "Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved." - President Monson This is my favorite quote of all time. I read my scriptures daily, and pray always. And I attend church services wherever we are (A funny part is even when my husband and I were on our Honeymoon). We love sharing the gospel and testimonies to people, and each other. To help us remember who we are, and what we are doing daily. And the most important is to think about our Savior, always. We often ask ourselves "What Matter Most?" We believe in service, and honesty.

What is being a Mormon like?

Honestly, it's amazing. It's Epic. Having the gospel in life and being a Mormon bring greatest joy in life for us. Life never gets easier, but we are such happy people because the gospel makes the hard long path become happy as we have directions from the Lord. Show more Show less
