Hi I'm Mari

I'm a full time University Student. I'm a dedicated violin teacher. I love classical music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full-time University student studying violin pedagogy. (Don't know what that is? I'm studying to be a professional violin instructor. I love it!) I never get enough of classical music, playing solo pieces, in quartet groups, and attending concerts and recitals. I also teach 23 amazing violin students. It takes up much of my time, but it's not work because I love what I do! I love getting out and enjoying the world around me. I enjoy dancing, going out to eat, star-gazing with friends, playing games with my family, and anything fun and thrilling!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, as my parents are both members. As I grew up, I leaned on the belief of my parents for quite some time, avoiding the task of taking on the responsibility. When I got into middle school and into my teens, questions came up challenging my faith and my belief in the gospel of Christ. I knew I needed my own witness and testimony of the gospel so I could share it with others and stand up for the church. I read the Book of Mormon and much of the Bible, I read the words of the prophets in the latter-day, and I prayed for answers and guidance in my life. I can not deny the feeling I receive when I support, believe in, and talk about the Church of Jesus Christ. The Savior atoned for each and every one of us individually. He knows me, as He knows you. The knowledge of the chance that my family has to be together forever is such a blessing and has been a source of comfort in times of trial. I know without a doubt that as we follow Jesus Christ and live with standards of God, we will be able to be with our families again, and to live with God again. He loves us, we are His children.

How I live my faith

As an active member in my church and religion, I have the opportunity to spread the gospel to those in my area who may not know about us. I get to reach out to young single adults and let them know of activities and socials going on in the area. Most young adults love to hear about what's going on and begin to attend our activities and our church meetings, and soon find great friends. Being able to show others the love that Christ has for them through the gospel is such a blessing.
