Hi I'm Marvin V. Frandsen

I'm a Mormon and love it.

About Me

I am a child of God just like you. I am the father of four wonderful children and three grandchildren. I was raised by goodly parents who taught me to care about others before thinking about myself. My hobbies and interests include woodworking, blacksmithing, and gardening. I love to read when I have the time. I really enjoy instrumental music (piano, guitar, etc.).

Why I am a Mormon

I have found that when you are engaged in a worthy cause and doing the simplest of tasks you truly can make a difference. I have been blessed to experience many wonderful events throughout my life. The opportunity to serve a mission, being married, having children, spoiling grandchildren, and serving others are just a few reasons I am a Mormon. I have a testimony of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. I know that they exist and that they truly love me. I have felt the Spirit of the Holy Ghost and continually strive to keep his presence in my life. I have read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and earnestly sought the Lord's promise to seek and find and the door will be opened to me. I hope that the remaining years of my life will be spent in serving others and completing my mission here on earth. I have been blessed immensely by my involvement in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the knowledge, understanding, and purpose it has provided me.

How I live my faith

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: "Rings and jewels are not gifts, the only true gift is a portion of oneself." I truly believe that when you give of yourself unconditionally you live your life with purpose and fulfillment. I have found the greatest joy and happiness in my life takes place when I forget about myself and serve others with love and compassion.
