Hi I'm Robert

I'm a college student, enamored by the peace & beauty of nature. It testifies of Him and so do I. Yes, I'm a Christian!

About Me

Among the biggest misconceptions out there, that the scope of this site and my profile hope to put an end to, is that Mormons are not Christian. To that, I want to say that the most valuable thing you could know about me is that I am a Christian! Everything else is just gravy. There are many things that I've learned to love and can appreciate more and more everyday, thanks to the clarity of the true teachings of my Savior Jesus Christ. I feel passionate about music and the power it has to uplift and unite, which is why I take great pleasure in learning to play the piano. Another passion of mine is cooking, and who doesn't crave a meal that was carefully and tastefully prepared for them? Is this not a great way to serve others and bring cheer into their heart? I think so! When it comes to my profession, I hope to be able to use the knowledge that I've gained over my lifetime, from school and other experiences, coupled with my faith in God to help others. The world is changing rapidly, and technology is enhancing our abilities. For that reason, I'm pursuing a career in the natural sciences, where some of the most terrific and terrifying possibilities lie on the horizon. My greatest interest has been, and will always be, in my relationships with family and friends. They have collectively and individually helped me mold my life so that I can be happy, in whatever situation I'm in. Although we are spread across several continents, the teachings of Jesus Christ keep us together!

Why I am a Mormon

Year after year of attending Sunday school classes, early morning scripture study classes, and regular activities with church friends, my teachers and friends shared their solemn witnesses of the benefits of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I felt it. In the course of my church service, in Italy and at home, I have seen firsthand the completely selfless love and devotion of church leaders. I cannot adequately express how much their righteous examples have strengthened my faith. Experiences I've had in sincere prayer, together with the examples and teachings of these fine men and women in my life, have established a testimony and hope within me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's own church, which He guides with great love and power.

How I live my faith

Day to day, I try to live my faith by being ready and willing to accept a call to serve when the opportunity arises. It isn't enough for me to simply profess what I know in my heart, but to share my time, talents and everything I possess with others is what I feel best describes how I try to live my faith. Concrete examples of this include having served a two year mission in the south of Italy, and continuing to serve in our local young single adult branch. The Savior teaches "stand ye in holy places," and nothing I do in my life brings me more peace and joy than when I'm at church or at the temple with family and friends.
