Hi I'm Chase

I'm a missionary! I also love free t-shirts and twinkies...Yeep. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm your cliche Mormon bro from Utah Valley. I was born in Utah, raised in Utah, and hopefully don't die here...somewhere on the east coast would be great. I have an incredible family of 8 who are the best/coolest folks you'll ever associate with. I enjoy playing sports! Football is more than a hobby, and McDonald's and I go together better than Mumford and Sons. I'm studying Aviation Science at Utah Valley University and plan to travel the world as a commercial pilot. Party.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is something that I've been raised with. My parents have always been members, and I'm grateful for their diligence in raising me in the gospel. However, I do have to admit that my conversion came much later in life. As much as I tried to understand the Church and religion in my life, a lot of doubt and disbelief accompanied these thoughts. Until I fully applied the teachings of the Church, I hadn't received a witness of the truths that I was taught throughout my life. I have a testimony of applying the words of our Savior to literally change ourselves and become the people our Father created us to be. These words are found in holy scripture, and a volume that has changed my life is The Book of Mormon. It teaches the doctrine of....literally everything, so plainly and packed with the spirit, that I do believe in my Savior, my Heavenly Father, and the restored truths of the gospel brought forth by the Prophet Joseph Smith. This knowledge has changed my life, and I'm eternally grateful for that.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the Church! I have always had the opportunity to be a part of my ward and serve in different callings. I try and live my faith by that of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my greatest example! I distance myself from worldly temptations that can affect me spiritually, mentally, and physically. I've discovered personally that the only way for a child of God to stay clean and worthy in this day and age is to be surrounded by good friends, and have the spirit in their lives. I'm now currently serving in the Great Kentucky Louisville Mission and it's the greatest learning experience of my life.
