Hi I'm Hollie!

Hey y'all! I am a total goof, I love making new friends, I'm a returned missionary, and yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am all about centering my life on things that make me happy and make me feel like I have accomplished something. I was serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I first created this profile, and I have since returned home due to completing my 18 months of full-time service for the Lord in the southern states of Tennessee and Kentucky. I love doing art projects, I love doing missionary work, I love hanging out with family and friends doing whatever will make me laugh and bring me closer to my Savior. Ask me anything about the Church and I would love to answer you back.

Why I am a Mormon

The purpose of this life is to have joy and prepare to live with God again. He wants us to become like Him. We are His children and I testify that He loves us. I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints everyday because the Holy Ghost continues to confirm to me that it is authentically the same Church that Jesus Christ established in the New Testament. It is His Church. It is not Joseph Smith's, it is not the current prophet, President Thomas S. Monson's Church, it is not my Church or any other member's Church, it is Jesus Christ's Church. If I am going to accomplish my purpose in this life by having joy and preparing the best I can to live with our Father in Heaven, then I am going to do it by following Jesus Christ, who is our ultimate example, and He Himself has declared that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. (D&C 1:30)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by practicing what I taught on my mission. I know that I need to do what I can to increase my faith in Jesus Christ on a daily basis, I know there is power in repenting daily and readjusting my priorities to show my dedication to work hard. I go to church every week and thank Heavenly Father that I have another opportunity to be cleansed from sin- another opportunity to take the sacrament. I try to keep the Holy Ghost with me at all times, and I try to follow through on promptings that I receive from Him. I also have a firm testimony that by enduring to the end and keeping a continual vision for myself, (what I want to achieve in this life, and where I want to go when Heavenly Father calls me Home), that I will obtain the ultimate happiness that my Father has for me.
