Hi I'm Emily Frankenberry

I grew up in a small town in PA. I attended BYU-I for 2 years before I decided to serve a mission! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 3 younger brothers and the best parents in the world. I love missionary work and sharing the Gospel with others. After attending BYU-Idaho for two years I decided to serve a mission. I got my mission call to the Ohio Cleveland Mission. I will be serving in the Kirtland Visitors Center.. I am so excited to serve a mission!! I grew up in a small town and we have a branch where members are fewer but it was great. I grew up loving life and appreciate it even more now. I love to ride horses and another hobby I have is buying and reselling cars.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS Faith. I didn't really know for myself until I was about 19 or 20 that it means absolutely everything to me. I gained a real testimony when I moved clear across the US! I guess it was time to find out for myself and that is just what I did. A testimony doesn't come over night and certainly never stops growing. I really don't know where I'd be without the Gospel. It answers the questions of the soul and really shapes who I am today. I know my Heavenly Father lives and I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

I have served in various callings in the Church. I love getting involved and building a close friendship with others. I strive every day of the week to have the Spirit with me whether it's by reading my scriptures, listening to music, and so on. I love learning as much as I can while I can!

Are Mormons Christians?

Emily Frankenberry
Sometimes people not of our Faith think that we are not Christians... A Christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ and tries to follow His teachings. Anyone who is familiar with our basic beliefs can know that we believe Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. We believe that he died for us and that through him we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again by exercising Faith in Him and applying the Atonement in our everyday life. Show more Show less
