Hi I'm Shannon

I am a mother of four and grandmother of one. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and a mother of four children. I grew up camping ,fishing and hunting with my family. I enjoy reading, cooking, playing the piano, and babysitting my grandson. As a family we plant a garden each year and then I bottle the produce.

Why I am a Mormon

I basically grew up in the church. However, my father didn't become a member until I turned sixteen. My faith grew as I watched my father change his habits and decide to be baptised. The family unit is one of the most important aspects of our church. Everyone is happier when there is love at home. Everyone on the Earth is a member of one large family that has a Heavenly Father and Mother. We lived with them before this life. If we are obedient and follow Jesus Christ's example we will return to our Heavenly parents presence. This life is like living away from home at college. The choices we make here will determine the outcome of our future in our next life. May we all graduate with honors.

How I live my faith

I enjoy helping prepare meals for the homeless in our community.I teach a group of women in our church one Sunday a month. I associate with a womens' reading group. Usually, one week each summer I am at a church girls camp preparing meals. I participate in a church choir by singing, conducting, or playing the piano.
