Hi I'm Diane

One of ten children. Taught elementary school. Mother of six children. Have a family jewelry business. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I earned a Master's Degree in Education Administration and taught elementary school for 3.5 years. I stopped teaching to raise six children with my husband. Instead of going back to teaching, I joined him in creating a jewelry manufacturing business. All of our children made jewelry to pay their way through college. Our two boys funded their LDS missions also. I love being a grandmother. I play the organ and piano. Our whole family enjoys planning and watching tennis. I love scrap booking. My four sisters live close by and I look forward to our monthly gatherings.

Why I am a Mormon

My Mother and Father raised me in the LDS faith. I had a believing heart and strengthened my testimony as I attended Church and lived the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My family is a great source of comfort and faith for me. My nine brothers and sisters are my best friends. We continue to get together most holidays at the family farm. The posterity of my Mother and Father has nearly reached 100! My husband and I have been married 32 years and we have raised six children in our faith. I'm crazy about my 4 grandchildren. I know our family can be together forever if we live by the gospel plan. I know I have a loving Heavenly Father who hears and answers my prayers. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died and was resurrected for me and all mankind so that we can live with Him again if we are baptized and keep His commandments. I know that Pres. Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet on the earth today. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am president of the large women's organization for our church in my area of over 900 ladies. I plan a yearly winter social and provide leadership and training. I play the organ in our church and at the temple. I am active in collecting donations for a nondenominational food and clothing pantry in our city.
