Hi I'm Jenny

I go to college and BYUI. I am from the south. I grew up in the church. I am a mormon.

About Me

I have been going to BYUI for the last year and a half. My major in school is Exercise Physiology. I will graduate in two semesters. I have decided to go on a mission and got called to serve in the Dominican Republic.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life. I have never really had an "ah-ha" moment. I do know that when I follow the teachings of the LDS church I feel a peace that no one can take from me. This peace does not go away and I can draw from it whenever I want. Reading the Book of Mormon Daily has helped me avoid temptations and snares set up by Satan. I can feel of His spirit whenever I am learning about Christ and when I am making a personal decision for my life. I know that whenever an individuals pray they too can come to know of the truth. Prayer, going to church, and reading the Scriptures is the key factor in my conversion to this church.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in my church. I recently had a calling to serve as a Primary Teacher for the five year old children. I taught them the basic principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I was amazing to see that they understood and grasped the gospel at such a young age.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

To teach people the word of God and to share the message that they know to be true. They try to seek out the individuals that may be interested in learning about Jesus Christ and God's plan of happiness. Show more Show less
