Hi I'm Karen Lynch-Morrison

I love to scuba dive, dance, travel. I am honored to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint. I am a Mormon

About Me

I was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica. I am married with three children. When I lived in Jamaica my uncle had a pen friend named Utahna who asked him if he would like to learn about her church the missionaries showed up at our gate on a Saturday and the rest was history. I was baptized in Jamaica two months before I graduated from the Queens High School in Jamaica. I moved to NYC six months later and moved to Utah a year later to complete my education at Utah Valley State College. I then transfered to the University of Utah obtained a bachelors degree and two years later obtained a Masters degree in education. I am a speical education teacher for the past 13 years. I am attending Utah State working on my administrative certification to become a school principal. My younger sister and I were baptized the same day in Jamaica in 1986.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love the teaching of the Eternal Plan of Salvation and that we lived in Heaven a long time ago with people we know and love and we will one day be reunited with our loved ones and will be with them together, eternally. Because of this knowledge, I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in Jesus Christ with daily prayers of gratitude. I live my faith with the reminder that I have more blessings than trials. I live my faith with always keeping in mind the two greatest commandments and always praying and asking for help in living both commandments and that is to: Love God with all my heart, mind and strength and love my neighbor as myself. I struggle sometimes with perfecting living these commandments but I am always asking for help because they are fundamental principles. I live my faith in Jesus Christ by actively being a Global citizen remembering every person in this world is a daughter and son of a loving Heavenly Father.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Karen Lynch-Morrison
No. We are a world-wide membership and know that every person on this earth are all brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. We are literally our "brother's keeper." Show more Show less
