Hi I'm Joshua

I am a home-schooler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I'm Joshua and I love to read and write short stories, I have lived in Iowa all my life. I have eight siblings, three sisters two older and one younger and five brothers one older and the rest are younger and I love them all. I like to hang out with my friends and I like to make new ones. I love to study all sorts of things concerning the Gospel. The Gospel is very important to me, especially The Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon), because I know that it is true. Through trials in my life I have learned this truth, and this truth I will never forsake. And during these trials I have felt the love and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ, He has lifted me up when I have fallen, given me peace when I need it and given His love which has changed my heart and perspective. Through His love He has spoken to my heart and given me peace. Through the trials in my life I have been driven to my knees, and my God has lifted me up; He taken me by the hand and lifted me up; He has opened my eyes and my heart; the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Ghost has taught and has given me the truth. Through His words and the words of His prophets; their words have touched my heart; given me peace. Through the Divine manifestation of the Holy Ghost, though His testifying to my heart I know without a shadow of a doubt that this church is true. That Jesus Christ stands at it's head, that this is His gospel through which true joy and peace is found. I know that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost live. I have felt of their love and peace; it brings joy not found any where else in the world. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, that it is another testament of Jesus Christ; through it I have gained my testimony; and through it I know the truth. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a prophet of God, that he has restored the Gospel to the earth in it's fulness. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God; that he is His mouthpiece. I know that what he speaks is the word of God. I know this because through his words I have felt the love and peace of God. I belong to this church because I know it is true.

How I live my faith

.I live my faith by trying to keep the commandments, and repenting when I mess up. I study the scriptures daily and pray that the Spirit will be with me as I study. I pray daily; I care and pray for those who have strayed from the path, I pray that they will come back to joy, because I love them and I know that God loves them. I attend church meetings, I bear my testimony that I might touch the hearts of those around me and bring them unto Christ. I try to keep myself close to the Lord. I try to love all God's children and try to see them as He see's them. I live my faith not only because it is true; but also because I love it. As a member of the Church Of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, I try to be an example Christ, and lead by example. I love the Father, the Lord my Redeemer and the Holy Ghost and this gospel.
