Hi I'm Taylor

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I love snow skiing, snowmobiling, music and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Sandy, Utah and have been there my whole life. I have been in the church all my life and am currently serving a mission in the Washington DC North mission. I was going to Utah State University and hope to return there after my mission. My main hobbies are just about anything outdoors. I like hiking, biking, skiing. snowmobiling. off roading...whatever it is outdoors. I love music of any kind. Mostly dubstep and hip hop but I really like it all.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know its true. I have read the Book of Mormon a few times and every time I read it my testimony that it is the word of God grows. I have grown closer to Christ and become a better person because of the things I have learned from both the Book of Mormon and the Bible. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is what will bring us lasting happiness and peace in this world that is full of trials. The things I have learned in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and from the scriptures continue to help me grow spiritually and understand God's plan for me. A lot of the events that have helped me build my testimony the most significantly have happened on my mission. One of the most significant was when my companion and I felt inspired to go to one particular street we had not been to before. We followed the prompting, went to the street, and talked to one lady. She later read the Book of Mormon and after reading just one chapter she had questions answered that she had been wondering about her entire life. She says she has never been happier before. Experiences like this help me build my faith in the Savior and in the restored gospel!

How I live my faith

I have been actively going to church all my life and plan to for the rest of my life. I am currently serving a 2 year mission dedicating everything to serving the Lord and serving the people in the Washington DC area.

Are Mormons Christians?

In the Book of Mormon in 1 Nephi 13:40 it says that one of the primary purposes they were keeping the record was "to make known to all kindred, tounges and people that the Lamb of God is the Son of the Eternal Father and the Savior of the world and that all men must come unto Him or they cannot be saved" The Book of Mormon truly is another testament of Jesus Christ and will increase anybody's faith in Christ.
