Hi I'm Arturo

I'm an average kid from California. I was an athlete in Highschool. Im studying to be a Mech. Engineer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 20 year old male. I love to play football and wrestle in my spare time. Im a gamer and I play games on the Xbox and PC. Im currently studying to become a Mechanical Engineer and I'm loving every miute of it. I have been a scout leader in the Boys Scouts of America. I really love dogs and animals. I love to enjoy the little things in life. Like those days where you just treat yourself to a good meal or have some time alone or maybe a wlak in the park.

Why I am a Mormon

I was converted when I was 14. Missionaries came to my house and my family decided to let them in. They began teaching me and soon there after i was baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. From there on my life changed for the better. I found a happiness that i could not find anywhere else. The things of the world could not compare to the joy Ifelt when I would live the gospel. Though like may youth around my age, I became rebellious and fell away for about two years. This was due to my family moving constantly and also the age I was in pushed me to indulge in mundane things. Then came a knock at my door. It was the missionaries! They had come to look for the lost sheep. My reactivation came slowly but became solid in return. At that point I was about 18. Then the question came to me... Should I serve a Mission? I personally knew what the Missionary work can do for people. To change their lives and make them happier. To let them become closer to their family and to God and the savior Jesus Christ. The answer to the mission question was a resounding YES!!! So now I'm a Missionary =) And that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions in church an those around me. I always help seting up functions and events in the church. I help others and any one in need. Wether they need spiritual assistance or physical assistance I am always there.

What is faith?

Arturo
To have faith is to hope for things that you cannot see but are true to you. Just like a bank account. You have "faith" that the money is in there but you cant see it but you still use your checks or debit cards. Haing faith is to trust wholeheartedly both in God and his Gospel. Show more Show less
