Hi I'm Megan Carr

I grew up in Utah. I am a wife, nurse, I Love Jesus Christ and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Megan. I grew up in a small rural town in southern Utah. I was blessed with the best family I could have ever asked for! I recently got married to the love of my life in the Payson Temple. It was the most beautiful and best day of my life! I love sports, music, the outdoors, and being with friends and family. I am now working as a Registered Nurse. I absolutely love my job and am blessed everyday by those whom I am able to work with.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into this church to loving parents who taught me the gospel all throughout growing up. I have come to know for myself that this gospel is true. It blesses my life each and everyday. During the hardest times in life when it feels nothing is going right, Heavenly Father will help me remember that He is there and that He loves me. God does hear and answer prayers and He is always there for us! I am truly humbled by my Saviors atoning sacrifice. I know that Jesus Christ died for each and every one of us so that we can live with Him and our Heavenly Father again. He knows everything we are going through for he already experienced all of our pains, sorrows, and afflictions. It is so comforting to know that I am never alone. I know God lives and loves us. He knows us all personally. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he did see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ and that this gospel was restored to its fullness here on the earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God on the earth today and that if we follow his counsel we will be blessed and happy. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that it truly is another testament of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the knowledge of the plan of salvation. Getting married in the temple was the best decision I have made and so glad that we made that decision. I am grateful that I can spend the rest of eternity with my family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others, prayer, scripture study, and church attendance. These small things help me grow closer to my Savior and Heavenly Father and strengthen my testimony. I love this gospel and the joy that it brings me daily. I will always stand up for what I believe in and try to be the best example I can be to those around me. It makes me so happy when I am able to share and discuss my knowledge of the gospel with others because it truly is the "good news."
