Hi I'm Elder Harrison

I was born and raised in Arizona. I love anything on a board: wakeboarding, snowboarding, longboarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside, hiking, camping, being on a board like I said. I love my friends and doing new things, going new places. Most of all I love my family! I am the youngest of 5 with amazing parents. I also love watching movies, I could watch a movie every night for the rest of my life if I had the time for it.

Why I am a Mormon

One big reason I am a Mormon is because I grew up in a LDS house hold. Both of my parents are members. But do not mistake that for the true reason. As a teenager I could have stopped going at any time. I was raised Mormon and I have seen all of the blessings that are in my life because of it. How close my family is. How close my parents are, still married after 30+ years which I know would not have lasted in today's society without their foundation built on Christ. I have a healthy body and have good habbits because of the standards the church has/teaches, us keeping the commandments of God. There are so many obvious and temporal blessings in my life from being a member, however there is more. Before I decided to go dedicate 2 years of my life to serving and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I had to know for myself that it was all true and not just a good lifestyle. I would be giving up things I love the most, movies, friends, college and family at a crucial time in my life. So I decided the summer after I graduated highschool to ask God myself. I spent many weeks praying and reading from the Book Of Mormon, asking to know if it is true. It took diligence and patience, but I know I have received an answer from the Holy Ghost for myself, bearing witness that it is true. It did not come in words or a vision, but I could feel it in my heart, and that is what I needed. Therefore I decided if it was true, that others needed that chance to know as well, so here I am, out on a mission!

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith growing up by attending church every Sunday with my family. I love reading the scriptures, the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I feel I come closer to Christ every time I do. I love serving others and the community. Right now I am on a 2 year mission for my church where I go around all day every day sharing my faith with others and serving others in any way I can.
