Hi I'm Stephen

I grew up in California. I am going to serve a mission in Guatemala. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Southern California has been a wonderful experience. Whether its fishing, surfing, hiking, or running I have been so blessed to grow up in such a wonderful place. Every opportunity I get, I try to be outside doing something. There are so many opportunities to enjoy life and I try to take advantage of these things. One of my biggest hobbies is cars. I absolutely love American Cars. The bigger the engine the better. I love my family so much. I love being around my family. That is one of the greatest blessings about the gospel is having a knowledge that we can live with our families for all eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been so blessed to have been born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been so blessed in my life by the gospel and know that it is true. My religion is who I am. My actions, words, and deeds are all influenced by the standards of the church. I live to be an example of Jesus Christ. He is my brother and most importantly my Savior. This knowledge that I can be saved through my works and doing all that I can, and then putting all my trust and faith in God is such a blessing. I am Mormon because I know that this gospel is the true and restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth today. There are many things in this life that make us happy temporarily, but it is the everlasting peace and joy that the gospel offers that is truly important.

How I live my faith

Every day I live my faith. When I get out of bed in the morning, I pray. When I am around other people I try to set a Christ like example. I try to keep the commandments and be the best person that I know how. Helping others and being a friend to everyone are also a couple of things that I do to live my faith. Perhaps the greatest way of all of actually living my faith is by serving a mission. I look forward to preaching the gospel to those people who have been prepared for me to teach. I will be on the Lords errand 24/7. What a blessing. This is perhaps the biggest way that I will be able to actually live my faith, by teaching it and being partners with it every day of my life for 2 years.
