Hi I'm Sonja

I have two young kids. I work full time and go to school. My husband and I are in the Army. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two children, a son that is four years old and a daughter who just turned 1 years old. I have transitioned from a full time working mom of two who was an Army National Guard soldier to a full time stay at home mom and wife of an Active Duty Army soldier. I love my life and know that it truly has been blessed by Heavenly Father. There is no limit to what you can do here on Earth through the power of the Priesthood and guidance of Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony that the church is the true church of Jesus Christ. I had what would be considered a pretty easy or simple childhood. My parents divorced in my freshman year of high school. I had entered a darkness full of anger and sadness during that time. My mom started to read more and more about the church. Before I knew it, my mother and I were receiving lessons from the missionaries. I realized the darkness was starting to dissipate and that I finally could see the light inside of me that Heavenly Father intended for the world to see. I have never received more comfort and progressed more in my life than with the help of Heavenly Father and being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I joined the church when I was 16 years old. I continue to grow and strengthen my faith by simply following the words of our Prophet and our doctrine. I have learned many lessons in the strength of prayer and the influence of the Holy Spirit. I have been blessed in many ways, both in good and bad challenges that I have endeavored throughout my life. There is a lesson in everything that Heavenly Father places in front of us. Things will get rough here and there for everyone, but give it to Heavenly Father as he has asked and you truly will gain great insight from the situations you may face and blessings are in store. I have and continue to enjoy the blessings of the Temple as well as share my faith with my husband of whom decided to join the church too and was baptized in April 2013.
